9th Circuit Ruling

9th Circuit Ruling

9th Circuit Judges Michelle Friedland, William Canby Jr., and Richard Clifton made a major gamble with American lives last night. They ruled against the President and appear to have rewritten the Immigration and Nationality Act, which states: “Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate.”

I’m not sure that I have read a more plainly stated law. According to the three judges on the left-leaning 9th Circuit, it means something entirely different than what it says. Until the Supreme Court weighs in, their interpretation is now the new law of the land. What does it mean now? No one really knows.

Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!

Let’s Get Ready To Rumble!

In an era where groups of young Republicans are falling victim to violent leftist extremists, would you believe that the University of Central Florida is allowing a group of liberal students to congregate to learn fighting skills? The only requirement for admission to this event? You must not be a Republican. Kind of makes it seem like conservatives may be the ultimate target of this exercise, doesn’t it?

Commendation for Lady Gaga

Commendation for Lady Gaga

That headline originally read ‘Condemnation for Lady Gaga,’ and I had the article all planned out but she really surprised me with her performance Sunday night. I was not alone in assuming she would use the grandest stage in the world to push an anti-Trump, uber-progressive agenda down America’s (and the world’s) throat. Instead, she delivered an exciting show that even included a beautiful patriotic opening.

The Consequences of Leftist Bullying

The Consequences of Leftist Bullying

Typically, I do not post much personal material on here. I try to limit my writings to commentary on the events of our day. Last night, though, I had a brief but disturbing conversation. It very much reaffirmed a lot of the thoughts from my previous article, Berkeley Riots Against Free Speech.

In an effort to spread my article on contacting Senators, Weak Democratic Senat Seats In 2018 – How You Can Influence Them, I did what most small-time bloggers do and politely pestered a few of my known Right-leaning friends to share my masterpiece on their social media outlets. I’m never offended if anyone declines, and most of them simply ignore me, but I received one response that really chilled me to my core and elevated my concern for the future of our society.

Berkeley Riots Against Free Speech

Berkeley Riots Against Free Speech

The First Amendment is quite literally under fire from Leftist Americans. This nation, as far back as I can remember, and also during the times that I have studied, has allowed almost unfettered freedom of speech. The Ku Klux Klan has been allowed to demonstrate. The original quasi-militant Black Panthers could speak and be heard. This country has witnessed alliances be formed between hard-core pornographers and the most conservative evangelical ministers because they realized one very important thing; if you close off freedom to one ideal you risk closing off freedom to every ideal.
